Educational Objectives
- Make and translate sentences with:
- masculine and neuter nouns ending in a
- feminine nouns ending in ā
- present tense verbs from several verb families
- Learn beginning sandhi (letter changes)
- Gain a deeper understanding of Sanskrit as a tool for meditation
- Progress with mantra chanting proficiency, including an understanding of metrics
- Practice learning and chanting verses
Educational Materials
All educational materials will be provided, including audio files.
Prerequisites
Devanāgarī script pronunciation and writing.
Class will meet Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM PST from August 19th to September 23rd.
