Hymn to Hanuman

मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम् ।
वातात्माजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये ।।

mano-javaṁ māruta-tulya- vegaṁ jitendriyaṁ buddhimatāṁ variṣṭham
vātātmajaṁ vānara-yūtha- mukhyaṁ śrīrāma-dūtaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye

I resort to that shelter who is the messenger of Rama, the leader of the
troop of the monkeys, the son of the Wind god, the best of the wise, he
who has mastered his senses, whose power is like the wind, whose speed
is that of the mind.
