I worship that goddess who is white, the supreme essence of meditation
on the Absolute, the primeval pervader of the universe, she who bears a
book and a vīṇā, the giver of fearlessness, the destroyer of the darkness of
intellectual dullness, she who holds in her hand a crystal necklace,
established on a lotus seat, the highest goddess, Śāradā, the giver of intelligence.
